Gerda van Schalkwyk obtained her LLB degree in 2006 and LLM degree in 2008 from the University of Stellenbosch. She completed her articles at the firm in 2010 and was admitted as an attorney in 2010 and conveyancer and notary in 2013. She practices in High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation, as well as the administration of estates.

Ina Venter obtained her LLB in 2003 through the UOFS and was admitted as a Conveyancer in 2006 and a Notary in 2008.
Ina focuses on property transfers and property law and is based at our King William’s Town branch.

As an associate she assists Paula Neethling and Martinette Meyer with various Commercial Law matters.

She joined VanderSpuy as a Candidate Attorney in 2020 and was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of South Africa in 2022. As an associate, she assists Charles van Breda with various commercial matters, and litigation in both the High Court and Magistrates’ Courts.
